World Citi Colleges (WCC) has formally inked a partnership with the University of Manitoba, one of Canada’s Ivy League institutions, to establish the first and only Clinical Competence Assessment Center in the Philippines. This groundbreaking collaboration signifies WCC's commitment to the growth and professional development of Filipino nurses, enabling them to elevate their skills and opportunities on a global scale.
About the Clinical Competence Assessment Center:
The Clinical Competence Assessment Center will streamline the completion of the required Clinical Competence Assessment (CCA) of qualified Filipino Registered Nurses bound to Manitoba. It started at WCC Quezon City Campus last October 2023, utilizing an innovative virtual reality platform.
The center will streamline the completion of the required Clinical Competence Assessment (CCA) of qualified Filipino Registered Nurses bound to Manitoba. Candidates with identified gaps in their competencies will undergo further training at Red River College, with sponsorship from the provincial government of Manitoba. During the training period, they can work as Undergraduate Nurse Employees (UNEs) and will have the opportunity to come to Manitoba as Provincial Nominees with permanent resident status.
