WCC Aeronautical and Technological College (WCC-ATC) and the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), two renowned aviation institutions from the Philippines and Canada respectively, joined forces through a signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last June 28. The signing ceremony took place during the Philippine Session of the BC International Education Week in Canada and was witnessed by Commission on Higher Education Chairman J. Prospero De Vera III, who has played a crucial role in fostering this collaboration.

This partnership elevates the Philippines' position as Asia's regional hub for Aircraft Maintenance Technology (AMT) graduates, marking a significant milestone in advancing the AMT program in the country. It empowers students to pursue careers on a global scale with internationally recognized credentials.

The signing ceremony was attended by WCC-ATC President Raymond Patrick V. Guico, BCIT Interim President Paul McCullough, BCIT Chief Operating Officer Sarah Bell, as well as other notable delegates and officials.
